Create Your own monster on a vintage canvas

We all know 1 or 2 monsters, whether they are in real life or in our dreams. Why not do something fun with them. In this workshop you will be able to move away from the obvious and let your fantasy run free. Using an existing background painting, where you can add you own personal monster.

No materials required. No experience required. Just curiosity.
this workshop is given in dutch (but we can switch to English)

What You’ll Experience

• We start with choosing the canvas, in a stock of vintage paintings that are all 13-in-a-dozen, you will be able to pick a perfect background for your own creation.
• Before we attack the canvas we sketch a bit on paper. This way we can losen up and you can determine what kind of monster you want to make.
• Once you know what you want to put on the painting you start painting it over with acrylic paint, until your monster appears.
• After the workshop you go home with your own personal and unique painting. 

What’s Included

All materials for this workshop are included, we will make sure there is a stock of vintage paintings to choose from. 

Why This Workshop Is Special

Working on a fantasy creature can be very liberating. It will force you to let your mind run free and let your imagination take over. While we all want to create something beautiful the process of letting your boundaries go and see where you will end up is at least as important as the end result.
